About Us
As a charitable organization based in Hong Kong, Roundtable Community is aimed at providing a platform to nurture young talents and disseminate knowledge as well as to provide the opportunities for individuals, companies and organizations to pursue, in the vehicle of social venture, community impact and reputation enhancement. The members of Roundtable Community come from various disciplines and areas including academia, professionals, cultural groups, NGOs and university students.
Roundtable Community 是一個年青的香港文化學術及社會參與平台。成立自04年10月，於06年9月成立註冊為慈善團體。會員主要包括各大專院校的學生、碩士、博士研究生及年青的專業人士，為近年二十至三十歲一輩中的青年人一個活躍、多元、專業的的自發組織。成立兩年以來，積極以創意、智識和學問，鼓勵青年人關心社會及推動文化學術發展，提昇香港多元社會的資本，獲得社會人士廣泛認同。
年青人一向被視為對社會參與冷感的一群，但在過去兩年的工作裡，我們發現年青的一輩對社會一樣有承擔，以往缺乏的，是一個共容的網絡平台。我們是香港少數完全由青年人自發和運作的組織，以多元觀點光譜的視野見稱。

Construct a multi-cultural society by foster discussion of clashing viewpoints. Promote the ideals of multi-culturalism and multi-polarism for the betterment of society. |

To widen social participation through fostering horizontal and vertical social mobility among various sectors & promote the ideals of inter-disciplinary study of youths. |

To nurture future leaders by constructing an external classroom for students to learn and apply their knowledge. |

促進不同立場交流，提倡多元主義 (multi-polarism) 和多元文化主義 (multi-culturalism)，鼓勵不同立場交流，破除二元對立，促進知識型社會的發展。 |

建立不同社會界別(如政界、商界、學術界、文化界及非政府界別)，以及學科(如文、理、社、商)之間，橫向和縱向的流動性。藉發展附屬組織，擴大社會參與圈，並讓不同的聲音得到溝通的支點。 |
